An Anniversary Card to Celebrate 60 Years Married!

60 years - an amazing feat!  This is my husband's aunt and uncle who are 90 and 88 years old, and there were a couple of lovely family days together with family who came from all around New Zealand.  Here's the card I made them.

I love the simplicity of this card - I'm a fan of clean and simple, and this is certainly clean and simple!

The scalloped hearts are cut out using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, and the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.  One Basic Pearl embellishment, and the card is done.

You'll notice that I've used dimensionals under each of the hearts.  It just looked too 'same-ish' without those.

It's been a while...

I've been trying to re-start my blog for ages now, but finally I've done it.  I've decided to remind myself that it doesn't have to be perfect.  That's a big deal for me, but I'll try to keep that as my 2020 mantra.  It doesn't have to be perfect!

I was very lucky to be asked to present a new product bundle at the Stampin' Up! convention in November 2019.  These are some of the cards I made to showcase the Timeless Tulips bundle.  You'll see more of my samples over the next few days.

This is my first sample - it's ideal for the beginner stamper.  Stamps, ink and paper, that's all that I've used to make this card.  The stamps give you beautiful detailm, and I've only used two ink colours here. I love this card!

This card is more for the casual stamper - someone who has stamped before, who has a few more supplies such as the Designer Series Paper and the bling.  I chose to make this tulip blue as my husband (who is a keen gardener) said that the blue tulip is what all the tulip makers are trying to make.  I've used the punch as well as the stamp set here.

These two pictures are of my 'Avid' card - this is for the stamper who has quite a lot of equipment.  I've used the gorgeous Perennial Essence paper here, and a fancy fold. I've also coloured in the tulips using the Light Daffodil Delight Blend to just give a bit more depth to the colour.

I hope you've enjoyed looking at my samples, and I'll be sure to post the others I made over the coming weeks.

If you'd like to purchase anything I've used here, please click on any of the pictures below.  You'll go straight to my online store, and there you can shop to your hearts content!  Or, if you're like me, until your wallet poses a limit!

Please let me know if you have any questions.
